• John Crow

    John is an experienced CEO with decades of experience in hospitality development. His involvement in hotel projects and acquisitions has included hundreds of hotels and resorts in more than 25 countries, providing services in strategic planning, development, site selection, brand and management selection, economic feasibility analysis, financial due diligence, contract negotiations, asset management, expert witness and litigation support, and equity and debt sourcing.

    From 1980 through 1995, Mr. Crow was Senior Principal and Director of Management Advisory Services for the international accounting firm of Pannell Kerr Forster and Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Partner of PKF Consulting, Inc. He was National Director of Golf and Club Consulting services for PKF and served as President of Hunter Moss & Company, a wholly owned commercial and residential consulting subsidiary of PKF. From 2001 to 2019 he was also Managing Member of Crow Stewart & Associates, LLC, a hotel consulting and asset management company. He holds Masters Degree in Anthropology and in Hotel/Restaurant Management (Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality Management). Mr. Crow was a Founding Director and Board Member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and continues to serve the association as its Elections Commissioner.

    As a leader and self-sufficient innovator, Shawn is comfortable in any role from the executive boardroom to back of house. He is a savvy negotiator known for strong business development and relationship building skills. Shawn’s innate ability to build well rounded, high-performing and collaborative teams, including his strategically selected executive management staff, has served as a growth catalyst and infused productive energy into his endeavors.

    Alexandra leads guest experience, design standards and international development. Alexandra’s background in the highest service standard will make Hotel Carbon the modern-day choice of accommodation with seamless and experiential hospitality. Her strong international network will expand our footprint globally.

    Born in Venezuela, Alexandra accumulated extensive international experiences before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey in United States. She started out her hospitality career in the international cruise lines out of Miami. She was then recruited by the Emirates Airlines to be based out of Dubai. Being a top performer in the crew, she was handpicked to serve the private flights of the Royal Family of Dubai. At the height of the career, she was working on the Presidential Flight for the President of the United Arab Emirates. Her experience in the ultra luxury sector allowed her to build an extensive global network - perfect for international expansion after initial success in the domestic market.
